In partnership with the Substance Use and Mental Health Leadership Council (SUMHLC) of Rhode Island, a collective whose mission encompasses the promotion of high quality, comprehensive community-based care and preventative services, this four hour conference will discuss topics addressing HIV, HCV, and other STIs in Rhode Island. The Zoom conference will include an educational seminar and discussion on local HIV rates, PrEP, local STI rates, and local substance abuse updates including the prospect of safe consumption sites in the state. Not only will this provide a platform for local healthcare providers with firsthand experience working with HIV, HCV, and STIs to gain valuable insight, but it will also serve as a collaborative effort to continue the fight against these infectious diseases within the state of RI.
4.0 credit hours of both CME and CNE accreditation will be available for registered attendees.
