Description: People living with HIV face increased barriers to care due to a multitude of cultural and stigmatizing factors. It is our responsibility to understand the implications of these differences, and to employ culturally responsive strategies to meet patients’ needs with humility and respect. This presentation gives an overview of cultural responsiveness while providing actionable approaches to mitigate harm and improve patient engagement.
