2026 NEAETC CT LP HIV Symposium:
Empowering Progress: Redefining HIV Prevention and Treatment for Tomorrow
Join us on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, for a dynamic, in-person symposium bringing together healthcare providers, public health professionals, and community partners dedicated to advancing HIV prevention and care across Connecticut. This full-day event will convene for a full day of learning, collaboration, and networking.
The symposium will explore the evolving landscape of HIV prevention and treatment, beginning with an overview of current strategies and emerging innovations, including PrEP and long-acting injectable options. A diverse panel of community-based providers and clinical leaders will share real-world insights on implementing prevention models, addressing barriers, and expanding access to care.
Attendees will also hear from a keynote speaker on the history and future of the Ryan White Program, followed by expert-led sessions on advancements in HIV treatment, long-term care, and managing comorbidities associated with aging with HIV.
An interactive patient panel will offer powerful, real-life perspectives on living long-term with HIV, highlighting challenges, successes, and opportunities for improved patient-centered care. Throughout the day, participants will engage in meaningful discussions, gain practical knowledge, and identify actionable strategies to strengthen HIV prevention and treatment efforts.
This symposium offers a valuable opportunity to connect with peers, learn from experts, and contribute to shaping the future of HIV care in Connecticut and beyond.
